Nuss impressed me during the clinic

So that gives us two solid backup OGs...
in Nuss and Robinson when he returns from whatever injury he has. Either Golic or Cave should be a solid backup C. And hopefully Romine and Dever can be reliable backups at OT. Wow, a whole two-deep without needing a true freshman!
Charlie also commented on Nuss
"If we were playing a game today, he'd probably be our sixth lineman. He's that close to playing both left and right guard. There's a guy that coming into this camp, I would not have given you as a name [of a guy who would surprise], but we have confidence we could play him in a game and there wouldn't be a huge dropoff in performance."

Its nice to think about the fact the Nuss, Romine, Dever, Robinson, Clelland,Golic and Cave all have at least 3 years of eligibility a piece.
great to hear those guys mentioned, unsolicited
Especially Nuss, who'll be a junior.
Interesting that he said Nuss and Golic are the best No. 2s
I realize that's partly because Robinson and Dever are injured, but I would have thought Cave would be in there and I'm disappointed that Romine isn't.
