I don't think anyone was even considering the possibility he'd be back. Hell, he easily could have gone last year.

he dramatically improved his draft stock with his consistent play this year. It showed that his single-handed demolition of USC in 2023 wasn't a fluke.

I wonder if any other player has had defensive scores against USC in consecutive years (don't bother researching it, it's not that important).

I still remember Freeman pointing at him after he showboated on his scoop and score and held the ball out in a manner where if someone had caught him the ball could've knocked out of his hand. The look on Freeman's face and his gesture said "I don't care if you've had one of the greatest games against USC ever, we do things the right way."

Is he the last of COVID kids?
