Any word on Biden taking down the White House barricades?

Maybe not the greatest time, but we were in DC at TGiving and than shit was ob-fucking-noxious.

I think the big white walls came down so some improvement.

BTW, how was the trip? Seems like a lifetime ago but at least you missed the most recent lockdown on all indoor dining. Cannot wait to go back to the District and patronize some Jose Andres places among many others.

We had a great time. A little unorthodox because of COVID.

First thing we did was walk by the WH - were staying near - and could not get a good look at it because of the barricades. Noticeable to me was that the populous president separated himself (and his hotel) from the People. LOL.

We had reservations at Holocaust Museum and African but those ended up closing. Did one museum - American History maybe - I was not that impressed but I am not a huge museum guy any way.

Ended up at the place you sent us to (ARCTECHOUSE). We loved it and my daughter especially - it was very calming.

Spent a lot of time on the Mall just throwing the ball and taking it in.

Took bicycles from Wash Monument over to Arlington to Iwo Jima back over the river, down to the Capitol/SC and back up to near the White House where we were staying.

Spent a few hours dancing on the BLM street.

If I lived in DC this would be my hang out:

Loved that place.

Did Turkey day at Luray Caverns and then to

for turkey.

Spent a couple nights in Charlottesville - the Drafstman nice place rght by the college.

Did Monticello,

Great trip. Steph's dad died unexpectedly a few months ago so it was really good for us to get out of Savannah for the holiday.

Good to hear.

Hopefully you will be back soon and we can grab a drink or three. Glad you decide to ride bikes. It really is the best way to see the sights in the city. I love Filomena, and it may well be our hangout if we decide to get a condo in the District once our youngest goes to college.

BTW, my daughter's first acceptance for college was UGa and she got a partial scholarship so we are pretty psyched for her.

Go DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
