In one of his final acts in office, in the wee hours of the night, President Trump revoked Executive Order 13770, an order on ethics he signed when he first took office, freeing the way for people who have served in his administration to cash in with lobbying gigs.

He has an odd fondness for gay anthems and angry protest music. I suspect that Trump doesn't pay much attention to lyrics.
"My Way," on the other hand, is perfect in its bombast, self-importance, and utter inanity. It's such a terrible song that it's hard to imagine more fitting exit music.

Trump ran off to Florida to the strains of Macho Man, having neither "declassified everything," nor declared martial law. Instead, he spent his last presidential energies pardoning Steve Bannon, who defrauded MAGA out of millions in a fake Wall scheme--and a whole bunch of other swamp creatures. And notably, he didn't pardon Snowden or Assange, as his followers wanted. There was no Storm. No Great Awakening.
Anyway, they'll have learned nothing.

using Kwame Kilpatrick as a stand in for any and all ~CORRUPT DEMOCRATS~, this is an extremely funny thing.
I'm sure his base will ignore/justify it
but I wonder what they think of all the pardons. Perusing the list, there seems to be a lot of non-violent drug offenders and fraudsters. I'm sure they don't care about fraud, but I'd think his base was pretty anti-drug.
I didn't perform an exhaustive search, but I didn't see any pardons for the Capitol rioters in there...

He pardoned Bannon for running a 25m
scam on the Maga base. By all that is right and logical they should be pissed.
What I find curious about that pardon is Bannon had 3 other co-conspirators in the scheme and he was the only one that Trump pardoned. True Bannon can't be charged with anything federal in that case, but I suspect some of those co-conspirators had other dealings with Bannon that they will now talk about to extricate themselves from their legal predicament.
Bannon's pardon won't help him with any new charges.
He's also balls deep and likely exposed in the Jan 6 rally.
Those people love being fucked in the ear

The Bannon pardon isn't complicated, just more self-dealing as he views him as a lifeline for another run in '24.
