I think he's a treasure. As someone who grew up on Mike Shannon I immediately connected with Uncle Teddy. Just a totally unique and personable style, so different from your cookie cutter announcers these days.

The man called everything locally and was always damn good.

SD Chargers
SD Clippers

Leitner & Lasorda was about as good as a "character" interview gets.

Doubt you'll ever see the likes of him again in this city.
