I'd love for it to happen, for Weis to make it, for ND to avoid everything we're about to go through (yet again), but:

Pittsburgh is a Top Ten team. They are undefeated at home, including going 4-0 and +70 against FBS teams.

Connecticut is 2-3 on the road but the losses were to Pitt by 3, West Virginia by 4, and Cincinnati by 2. They also have two weeks to prepare for the game.

Stanford is once again ranked. They are undefeated at home thus far at 5-0 and +71. They're averaging 37 ppg at home.

By the end of the month there's really going to be little question as to what needs to happen.
