It's a travesty it took this long for Trammel.
And I agree with the sentiment that Lou Whitaker should have gone in with him. In fact, in a lot of ways his resume is better than Trammel's. Both were WAR monsters 2 decades before WAR was a thing, but neither was exactly a flashy player.
It's a joke that it took until 2017 for a single 1984 Tiger to be in the Hall of Fame. They were 35-5 at one point!
On the other hand, Jack Morris shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame.
