Fox News viewers are loyal; they are also the most
misinformed group of news watchers out there, acc. to various studies. In fact, one study had people who don't pay attention to the news as more informed. NPR, NY Times, and US Today readers/listeners seem to do best.
My parents, for example, who watch Fox News religiously, think crime is at an all=time high and that Obama Care is the reason for every insurance issue. Despite being well educated, they are also clueless about immigration, the history of this nation, African-Americans, atheists, etc. They live in a mostly white, Catholic area and have little interaction with people different than them.
