Trade value is meaningless in a pennant race.

I think the Mets are more of a contender today than are the Cubs, and if I wanted to contend today, I would not trade any of the three guys you listed for Soler or Bryant. It might be a toss up with Rizzo.

The Cubs organization is stocked, but they have almost zero proven high end position players. Rizzo and Castro are getting to that level. Soler and Bryant have less than a half season in The Show between them.

You wrote about trading organizations today, not who has more trade value.
