I think Brey is the same coach as always

He just had a bunch of guys who could run his offense very well.

Brey is a very good teacher-the principles of his offense (movement, spacing, etc) are incredibly sound, and he is a firm believer in what he wants to do. When the offense is clicking, it's a beautiful thing, and you can't stop it-just ask Kentucky! This year, for the first time in who knows how long, he had a number of guys who could do everything he wanted-set screens, roll to the basket, hit open jumpers, take defenders one on one, AND those guys were athletically gifted enough to kick the whole thing up to another level.

If Brey wants to replicate his success, he just needs to keep finding diamonds in the rough (Connaughton, Grant, Vasturia) and recruiting special talents (Jackson) who fit exactly what he wants to do. The attention he got from making the Elite Eight will help tremendously, and now he just needs to capitalize on it. It would also help if Jerian Grant and Demetrius Jackson become good NBA players.
