I thought I read that he not only could have applied for a fifth year, but "theoretically" also a sixth.
Of course, it didn't help being behind All-Americans on the depth chart, either.
Good move for him, I hope he does well.
And it sounds like he has been fighting injuries for most
of his time at ND, based upon some general comments his Dad has made on the radio. I know he had the broken wrist/forearm, but it sounds like there might have been some other stuff, too.
Good for him.
Sounds like he still has passion for the game. no need to jump too hastily into the workforce when you can get a free head start on a graduate degree.
