I personally loved it. It was as near perfect as a final episode could be--great, great, great stuff.
While the last two seasons sans Steve Carell have been mediocre at best, I will still miss this show.
I wanted to watch the finale but I gave up on it years ago.

I didn't think I'd understand what was going on.
I made it about 8 minutes into the "Michael's Kids" episode, paused it, and walked out of the room. Never could make myself un-pause to finish the episode. Not only was it the most cringe-worthy episode yet, but the subject was awfully close to my heart.
it was the finale you'd expect

Not bad, although I don't know what the rewatching value is.
The finale that's really grown on me over the years is Seinfeld. Hated it at the time, but in retrospect it's a good one.
I really enjoyed it

Other than Cheers I'm hard pressed to think of a better finale. I'll need to watch it again because I was a couple of cocktails down already, but I thought Michael Scott was used perfectly.
Dwight:"I can't believe you came"!
Micheal: "That's what she said"
And it gave us

the greatest "That's what she said" of all time.
