In all my years of following sports I've never seen a guy go from complete unknown to omnipresent quicker than this guy.

Its like he's on a world tour or something. He was at Pebble Beach on Monday. Today he's batting cages at Petco before tonight's Friar V Nationals game with SD skipper Bud Black throwing him BP.

FWIW, the little twerp even hit one out during BP.

he was pretty good in 500 Days of Summer

I don't even need Jay's help to translate that one.

I think it means "This picture is FUBAR".

Can you describe what we were supposed to see?

Hollywood Johnny throwing out the first pitch in SD

Which I just realized was a reenactment of a play v Bama.

It's technically mlb footage so they're probably spending a billion dollars to remove it from the internet, as is their custom.

CBS Has a post with the GIF

I'm just thankful that they gave us a kind error message

I'm still recovering from the time (on another board) that a "do not link to this site" message contained a not-so-nice image.

Pat?

He has to get it all in now, during the summer

by irishvol @, Music City, USA, Friday, May 17, 2013, 05:56 (4771 days ago) @ hobbs

After all, once the fall comes around, he's got to buckle down for those online classes.

Apparently his family is Capital-R Rich

by PAK, Thursday, May 16, 2013, 17:49 (4771 days ago) @ hobbs

You know, grow up rich beyond measure, immensely talented football player, not a care in the world...

Man. What a charmed life. I really have a tough time summoning any dislike for the kid. If I were in his shoes, I would be doing the exact same thing.

Not "apparently", definitely. Oil money

And for those who wonder why Texas didn't go after him

by Greg, seemingly ranch, Friday, May 17, 2013, 08:07 (4771 days ago) @ PAK

His mother's side of the family is capital-K "Kyle," as in Kyle Field. He was headed to Aggieland the second he received an offer, if and when one ever came (though without an offer he was planning to go to Oregon or Oregon State or someplace in the northwest). When the Aggies wised up, he dropped the school to which he had committed and became an Aggie posthaste. The burnt orange was never in the running.

The 2007 ND-UCLA game was a once in a lifetime experience, I hope

Still though, Mack Brown thought he would be a great safety
