Probably his second-best album.
I know most people would say Blood on the Tracks, and I love that one, but Visions of Johanna tips the scales for me. Freewheelin' is my favorite.

I got a detailed briefing of how it was recorded. Fascinating.
It was so far ahead of its time, not much to compare it to. Hell it's still ahead of its time. The compositions are so amazing in every way - melody, instrumentation, pace, lyrics.
You simply cannot overstate the greatness of that LP.
Why hasn't anyone ever made
a really good movie about Brian Wilson-The Crazy Years?
