But do they get a ring?
It seems like everyone gets one these days, so why not them as well?
In your dreams.
There's only one thing to say now:
Be champions!
So this triumph means Rafa stays, right?

All of England, only some of Wales ...

Being king of all of England and Wales is priceless glory.

The winner qualifies for Europa League play.
So Wigan, even having been relegated, will go to the same competition (and actually enter later in on the competition) than the EPL's 5th placed team.
Wigan gets to play in the Europa Cup next year
Maybe just qualifying or maybe group stage, I dunno.
They get the trophy!
Maybe a couple of byes in next year's FA Cup?
Looks like 'Arry is staying with the R's through their relegation, too... I'm assuming most of QPR will be gone, though.
Question on this
I only very casually follow soccer and am very much a novice. What exactly does the winner of the FA Cup receive besides a nice trophy and some prestige?
For instance, Chelsea's Champions League championship in 2012 earned it another year in the CL despite its regular season not being good enough to qualify the club. Does the FA title grant Wigan any kind of exemption for anything (I realize Wigan is being relegated in the EPL regardless)?
In other news, down goes Wigan
Champions on Saturday, relegated on Tuesday.
Have you heard about this potential awesome scenario?
It's not just a forgettable U2 album!
Oh wait, that's Zooropa.
