NBC might give the Big East a better TV deal than the ACC
I wonder if some of the timing of the ND/NBC contract renegotiation is tied into negotiations with the Big East. I would imagine NBC would like to make a big splash in announcing both at the same time. Set up a full day of college football. Early game at 11, mid-day game at 3:30, evening game at 8 or so. Figure around 4 of those mid-day games would be ND games along with two prime time ND games (one home game, one neutral site)
